The Codes - History Documentary Films. In communications and also information handling, code is system of policies to convert details-- such as a letter, word, image, action, or sound-- into one more, often reduced or secret, type or representation for communication through a stations or storage space in a medium. Speech limits the range of communication to the range a voice could lug, as well as restricts the audience to those existing when the speech is said. The process of encoding converts details from a source right into signs for communication or storage space. Translating is the reverse procedure, transforming code symbols back into a kind that the recipient comprehends. One factor for coding is to make it possible for interaction in position where common plain language, spoken o...

Mathematics - The Language of the Universe Mathematics isn't science. In fact, its approach is exactly the opposite compared to, for example, physics. Mathematics is an elaborate game, in which it is decided from the outset to play by the given rules. Then one proceeds by proving theorems; truths already implicitly hidden in these rules. In that way, one might say that mathematics is the easiest thing in the world, as everything is given from the start - but of course it requires incredibly sharp brains to lure out and understand what is already embodied in the rules - the starting assumptions ("postulates") that neither can be proved nor disproved. In physics, the situation is just the opposite. We are observing the world and trying to understand how it works, that is, trying to find the rules that nature follows. At least we assume that nature follows rules. But the strategy is difficult because we never have perfect knowledge about anything. It's a bit like covering large parts of a chess board, and then trying to get someone (ignorant of the subtleties of chess) to figure out the rules, by only getting access to some of the 64 squares on the chessboard. For instance, say that you can see only three of the squares; it will be almost impossible to obtain the complete set of chess-rules. No matter how long you stare at the three squares (during a real game of chess on all 64) you will hardly be able to draw any conclusions about what the pieces are doing - and why! - when you aren't seeing them. They show up seemingly at random, and leave your three squares just as erratically. We could hardly gain knowledge of the complete rules of the game. But it works roughly the same with the fundamental laws of nature, with the difference that the number of "squares" we need to observe probably is considerably larger than 64. While some physicists believe that we soon will be able to see the equivalent of all "squares", others think that we still see only three or even fewer. What, then, is the similarity between mathematics and physics? A large part of modern mathematics was developed by Newton in the 1600s because he needed it to analyze his laws of motion - mechanics. More modern mathematics, such as group theory and differential geometry, however, was developed "for its own sake", but was soon borrowed and used in quantum physics and general relativity. This led the renowned physicist Eugene Wigner, in 1960, to write an article entitled "The Unreasonable Effectiveness of Mathematics in the Natural Sciences". Why, wondered Wigner, is mathematics - often designed only for its own sake (fun!) - so successful in describing phenomena of nature? Perhaps nature itself is mathematical in essence? I think it is much simpler than that. Mathematics is a language developed by the human brain. Albeit the most precise language we know of today, still basically a language. Mathematics is a kind of map over how our brain works, with logic as its compass. In the future it may well be that we find (invent) an even more precise language than mathematics, which will then be used to describe all sorts of phenomena. Since both mathematics and science are the fruits of the human brain, it is also perfectly natural that they should fit like a glove. To say that mathematics is "unreasonably effective" for use in physics and other sciences is rather like saying that our tools to make gloves are "unreasonably successful" to make gloves. The book of nature need not necessarily be written in mathematics any more than a computer manual need to be written in English.

Drafting is the visual language of industry and engineering. A drafter, draftsperson, or draughtsman is a person who makes a drawing (technical or otherwise). A professional drafter who makes technical drawings is sometimes called a drafting technician. People who communicate with technical drawings, (those who design and those who are tradespeople), may use technical standards that define practical symbols, perspectives, units of measurement, notation systems, visual styles, or layout conventions. These enable a drafter to communicate more concisely by using a commonly understood convention. Together, such conventions constitute a visual language, and help to ensure that the drawing is unambiguous and relatively easy to understand. This need for unambiguous communication in the preparation of a functional document distinguishes technical drawing from the expressive drawing of the visual arts. Artistic drawings are subjectively interpreted; their meanings are multiply determined. Technical drawings are understood to have one intended meaning... Methods . Sketching A sketch is a quickly executed freehand drawing that is not intended as a finished work. In general, sketching is a quick way to record an idea for later use. Architect's sketches primarily serve as a way to try out different ideas and establish a composition before undertaking a more finished work, especially when the finished work is expensive and time consuming. Architectural sketches, for example, are a kind of diagrams. These sketches, like metaphors, are used by architects as a mean of communication in aiding design collaboration. This tool helps architects to abstract attributes of hypothetical provisional design solutions and summarize their complex patterns, hereby enhancing the design process. Manual or by instrument The basic drafting procedure is to place a piece of paper (or other material) on a smooth surface with right-angle corners and straight sides—typically a drawing board. A sliding straightedge known as a T-square is then placed on one of the sides, allowing it to be slid across the side of the table, and over the surface of the paper. "Parallel lines" can be drawn simply by moving the T-square and running a pencil or technical pen along the T-square's edge, but more typically the T-square is used as a tool to hold other devices such as set squares or triangles. In this case the drafter places one or more triangles of known angles on the T-square—which is itself at right angles to the edge of the table—and can then draw lines at any chosen angle to others on the page. Modern drafting tables (which have by now largely been replaced by CAD workstations) come equipped with a drafting machine that is supported on both sides of the table to slide over a large piece of paper. Because it is secured on both sides, lines drawn along the edge are guaranteed to be parallel. In addition, the drafter uses several technical drawing tools to draw curves and circles. Primary among these are the compasses, used for drawing simple arcs and circles, and the French curve, typically a piece of plastic with complex curves on it. A spline is a rubber coated articulated metal that can be manually bent to most curves... Computer aided design Today, the mechanics of the drafting task have largely been automated and accelerated through the use of computer-aided design systems (CAD). There are two types of computer-aided design systems used for the production of technical drawings" two dimensions ("2D") and three dimensions ("3D"). 2D CAD systems such as AutoCAD or MicroStation replace the paper drawing discipline... There is still much scope for error in the drawing when producing first and third angle orthographic projections, auxiliary projections and cross sections. A 2D CAD system is merely an electronic drawing board. Its greatest strength over direct to paper technical drawing is in the making of revisions... Drafting templates assist the drafter with creating recurring objects in a drawing...

Belorussia, summer 1942. The war has moved on, far off to the east. The life of a small town where the German authorities of the region have set themselves up is getting back to "normal". The Germans study Russian, flirt with the local girls, the women wash their clothes and feed them. They have to carry on somehow... But suddenly the teenage son of the film’s heroine decides to run away to the partisans and blows up a German train so that they could accept him. He gets caught and the Germans have to execute him in order "to teach others a lesson". That’s the order and it can’t be disobeyed. The Germans know that this execution will bring an end to their peaceful lives. The local commandant understands this better than anyone as he is already involved in a close relationship with the boy’s mother. But he can’t ignore an order from his commanders ... 2007 Director: Maria Mozhar Screen Play by: Maria Mozhar Director of Photography: Alexander Smirnov Art-director: Andrey Vasin Costume designer: Alena Nikolaeva Make-up artist: Ludmila Seregina Sound Director: Sergey Sokolov Composer: Pavel Karmanov Editor: Gleb Nikulskiy, Elena Andreeva Starring: Julia Aug, Elena Yatsko, Aksel Shrik, Gennady Garbuk, Olesya Pukhovaya Producer: Alexey Uchitel Production: Rock Films, BELARUSFILM with the support of the Federal Agency for Culture and Cinematography and the Belorussian Culture Ministry Cinematography Department Country of production: Russia, Belorussia Genre: Drama Time: 87 min Watch Online Free The Best Russian Movies: Dreaming of Space - https://youtu.be/5SGiUOOVMQc Kill Stalin - https://youtu.be/79ELa1hjEQk The Romanovs - https://youtu.be/USUA_1WVM8I Trouble in Store - https://youtu.be/1NKfGCaOjDc Night Swallows - https://youtu.be/MFK9wAOatGE Photo ID - https://youtu.be/shqgekxZx5U Once Upon a Time in Odessa - https://youtu.be/Wc6_gsWCQfw Movies with Russian Subtitles - https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLhuA9d7RIOdYAFeYDLwWI9J8QIu8n5ohb Watch movies and TV series for free in high quality. Cambridge University has produced a series of films about five of this year’s Pilkington Prize winners. These films go behind the scenes to show Cambridge teaching in action as well as inviting winners to explain their passion for teaching and reveal some of their trade secrets. The films feature Lecturer in German Thought, Martin Ruehl; Physics Lecturer Lisa Jardine-Wright; Sociologist Mónica Moreno Figueroa; Zoologist Andrew Balmford; and Design Engineer James Moultrie. Dr Martin Ruehl - Faculty of Modern and Medieval Languages Dr Martin Ruehl is a fantastic, inspiring teacher who effortlessly combines mastery of his subject with a gift for explaining it lucidly. He lectures ex tempore, circulating round the classroom and giving many opportunities for students to ask and answer questions. The highly interactive teaching style Martin adopts has allowed him to make his teaching accessible to all students, and thus to share his own obvious passion for the subject. In addition to his deep erudition, Martin has deep enthusiasm for teaching, and a commitment to meeting the needs of his students. As a Director of Studies, Martin takes exceptional care in introducing undergraduates to the Cambridge system when they first arrive, sacrificing much of his private time to do so. In his College, he has innovated a series of weekly film evenings in which first-year students introduce, screen and then discuss foreign-language films. This is not only a very good bonding experience; it also introduces the students to cinema as an object of academic research and scholarly debate. Martin also engages tirelessly in widening participation, having represented the College, and the University, at countless open days, school visits and outreach events. He has redeveloped the open day materials and the way schools are contacted to ensure that as many pupils from as many backgrounds as possible have access to them, and helped demystify the admissions process for applicants by leading the development of a series of videos promoting the study of Modern Languages at Cambridge, the most popular of which is a re-enactment of an admissions interview.

One factor for coding is to make it possible for interaction in position where common plain language, spoken or created, is tough or impossible. For instance, semaphore, where the setup of flags held by a signaller or the arms of a semaphore tower encodes components of the message, normally specific letters and also numbers WILD LIFE DOCUMENTARIES - https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL89NZer-bHII0dQDT30T4lN6qGy8f3Ndm RELIGION DOCUMENTARY - https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL89NZer-bHIIApKOXifEvgHoQxXeoewaR HISTORY DOCUMENTARY - https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL89NZer-bHIIFtbbgSotwgkwCduxG1YlK ADVENTURE DOCUMENTARY - https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL89NZer-bHIJ_fsqbIakXabFf44jPBm-E HEALTH AND MEDICINE DOCUMENTARY - https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL89NZer-bHILBMJN0wvBfAsDVXzz0GEIH PEOPLE DOCUMENTARY - https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL89NZer-bHILcEazOCor7wbrXTIn3gNkX TECHNOLOGY DOCUMENTARY - https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL89NZer-bHIK8tVs-9jdosdco5hbQQl6n SUPERNATURAL DOCUMENTARY - https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL89NZer-bHIIraIeCulhClPA004pED-Vg World Geographic Channel - https://www.youtube.com/user/TheWorldgeographicch Follow us : http://worldgeographicchannel.blogspot.com/ http://worlddocumentarychannel.blogspot.com/ http://documentarychannelhd.blogspot.com/ http://amazingdocumentaryfilms.blogspot.com/ http://topamazingdocumentaries.blogspot.com/ http://bestdocumentarychannel.blogspot.com/ http://top-documentaryfilms.blogspot.com/ Tags: The Codes History, The Codes Documentary Films, The Codes Full Documentary, The Codes Documentaries, The Codes Documentary, History of The Codes, The Codes,

Everyone loves a good movie and from time to time, there is nothing better than just sitting back and losing yourself in something amazing for a couple of hours. But, for many people in the English-speaking world, they draw the line at films that aren't in their native language, as they either don't watch movies to read subtitles, or they can't get to grips with dubbed voices not matching the lip movements of the on-screen actors. And while these two arguments are completely understandable, by totally excluding foreign-language films from your options of movie-going experiences, you may be missing out on some real gems that may actually turn out to be some of the best movies you will ever see! In this episode of The Bottomless Pit Podcast, myself and Foley talk about foreign-language films and recommend a few of the best to come out of Mexico, Germany, and France in the last ten years. Each of the films we talk about in this podcast can be found on Netflix or Amazon Prime so you can easily find them yourself and give them a chance. We have included a range of genres from comedy, to drama, to true stories, to gangster thrillers so we hope that there is something in there for everyone. We have only selected a few foreign-language films to feature in this episode, but we know that there is so much more out there. If you have any recommendations for non-English language movies, then please get in touch with us and we would love to hear what you guys like, and expand our own horizons outside of the English-speaking movie world! So, how can you do that? You can find us on social media. On Facebook, just search for The Bottomless Pit Podcast, and on Twitter we are @TheBPPodcast. Or, if you want to email the show, you can! Just send a message to bottomlesspitpodcast@gmail.com where either myself or Foley will read your message and get back to you.
